There are NO membership fees to join this group (voluntary donations are accepted), but we do have a few requirements for members. A background check is a MUST. The assistant organizer will be in contact with you to make sure this is done. You MUST have a complete profile, including a PHOTO of you and your child(ren). This is so we can identify you at meetups, and for the safety of all our members.

Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages shall NOT be permitted during ON CALENDAR events. The exception would be adults only events, such as parents night out and happy hours, or events hosted at a private residence.

You are required to log in at least one time per month. You will be considered an inactive member if you do not and may be removed from the group. Patterns of RSVP'ing yes and then not showing up to that event causes inconvenience for the host that is making reservations, pre-paying in advance, etc. If you don't agree with these requirements, this may not be the group for you. Please rsvp to every event, whether it be a yes, no, or maybe. This lets the event Organizer know you care about our group. When deciding how to rsvp to an event, please remember you are making a commitment. If you rsvp yes to an event, we look forward to seeing you there. We understand last minute problems happen. If you have to no show, call the Organizer immediately! Please keep your rsvp up to date. If you are a yes and decide not to go, change it to a no. We expect our members to understand “common courtesy” and act upon that! Please respect your Organizers' time and hard work in making ASP a successful group!

A lurker is someone who joins the group but does not participate on the message board or attend events. LURKERS ARE NOT ALLOWED! We take the safety of our children very seriously. Members that can not bother to post messages on our boards or show up to meet our members creeps us all out!! We want to know that you are who you say you are! Unless we meet you, how do we know that you are not just some suspicious man lying in the background waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike? YOU WILL BE CONSIDERED A LURKER IF YOU APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP AND DO NOT ATTEND A MEETUP WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH, IF YOU ARE A NO SHOW REPEATEDLY, OR DO NOT COMMUNICATE VIA MESSAGE BOARD OR EMAIL!
